Are you looking for premises but don’t know where to begin?
The commercial property market in Durham is continuing to grow, with major developments at business parks across the county.
A £3 million project to develop a quality office environment to satisfy a shortage of accommodation for new and existing businesses in Consett has been given the go ahead.
Based at Consett Business Park, the high specification, two-storey managed workspace will provide small office units with easy in – easy out occupancy arrangements for new start and existing Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to enable their future development and prosperity. It is expected to create over 80 jobs and support the overall regeneration of the Consett and North Durham area.
The project has secured £1.5m investment from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) which is managed by the Department for Communities and Local Government with match funding being provided by Durham County Council. The state-of-the art Tanfield Lea Business Centre, which was awarded a Very Good BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) status, uses advances in technology to provide a greener environment for tenants with the inclusion of solar paneling and natural air ventilation. The Business Centre provides 40,000 sq ft of modern office and workshop space for businesses in a revolutionary, three-storey building.
NETPark offers a flexible range of property and facilities that will allow your business to grow. We have a mix of high quality offices, laboratory and clean room space to meet your business needs. NETPark also provides virtual offices, hot desking facilities, soft landing space for international companies and high quality meeting and conference rooms.
There are a number of industrial units available at a range of sizes at industrial estates across the County and most include mains electric, gas and water supply. Many of the units have roller shutter door access and, where appropriate, units can be combined to create larger floor space.
