From starting in folk clubs, and then writing and performing at the Octagon theatre in Bolton, Bernard Wrigley's career has always combined singing and acting. Bob Hardisty, an exhibition by the Durham Amateur Football Trust
J.R.E. (Bob) Hardisty was the greatest amateur footballer of all time and probably Bishop Auckland's most famous son.
Highlight of the exhibition will be a special event on Tuesday 21 September. The Gallery will be open, a commemorative film will be shown and past members of the team will be in attendance.
A free event, entry by ticket.
