Our client, a leading manufacturer of chassis and related components require an experienced toolmaker / dye technician to join their team.
You will be time served, and have experience in the manufacture and/or maintenance of press tooling. Duties will include working to engineering drawings and high tolerances to build, commission, and repair tooling for the pressing plant. You may also be required to carry out work on jigs and fixtures on occasion.
You will be proficient in dealing with breakdowns, fault diagnosis and be capable of resolving route causes with minimal disruption to production.
Applicants must be flexible to work a continental shift pattern, although the position may go to a 3 shift system Monday to Friday to meet business demand.
