How did you get into radio?
I got my break in journalism at a radio station in London whilst at University studying Media Studies. I also managed to blag my way into working for a TV production company and a record label before moving back up North after graduating. After taking a year out, I went on to study a Post Graduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism in Leeds before working at a number of radio stations across the North East and Yorkshire... finally settling at Star last year.

If you weren't on the radio what would you be doing?
Horse riding instructor, because horses are the second biggest passion in my life... with journalism being my first of course!

Whats been the biggest story you've been on? It's been a great honour and privilege to follow Catterick based soldiers in Afghanistan. Thats not only been the biggest story I've been on but will long stay with me as the best experience of my life.

If a celebrity was to play you in a film, which would it be? Julia Roberts What was the last film you saw? Up - And I'm still getting over the fact I cried all the way through it.

Do you have any guilty pleasures? Literally anything covered in chocolate.

Where in the world is your favourite place? New York definitely!

One item you couldn't live without? My Credit card - the best piece of plastic ever invented

What are you most scared of? Spiders - especially the big black ones that run very fast across the floor!

Which celeb do you find attractive but you know you shouldn't? It would have to be Pierce Brosnan by a mile! Especially when he took over the role as James Bond... Tall, sophisticated and drop dead gorgeous!

Two words which best describe you? Fun and intelligent! lol
