Hello and thanks for having a peep at my jottings...I'm 40..ish, was born in Parkside Hospital, Middlesbrough and a self confessed dunce but got an O Level (bought off the internet...joking!!) - actually school was a bit of an eye opener for me...I also went to Barnard Castle Boys School for a while and had a fun time -I loved Saturdays as we would all rush to the pick n mix at Woolies in the town...another sign of the times eh?!

My career has nearly always been in radio, from my late teens, I worked all over the country, but more especially in the North East and North Yorkshire, where my name seems familiar...thankfully not to the Inland Revenue!! I spent 8 years working as a Special Constable for North Yorkshire Police and loved it (i'd recommend it if you fancy a great volunteer opportunity) and also worked near Northallerton for the Police full time in the Control Room at Newby Wiske where I made some wonderful friends, most of which I still know to this day.

I have somebody special in my life and he lives out of the area, but we meet up and enjoy spending time together where our work allows - absence makes the heart grow fonder n all that! I enjoy going for meals out, popping to friends for a cuppa and 'catch up' and generally laughing my way through life - it's the best medicine you can get, I say. I love people who wear their heart on their sleeve and hate not eating! My claim to fame is that I was one of the voices on the game Grand Theft Auto 4. I love nothing more than shopping for tents (or rather my clothes), my favourite film is The Hangover (I laughed all the way through!), my favourite food is...EVERYTHING, bar yoghurt, mustard and full fat milk. I love music of all kinds, actually it's a very eclectic taste really and like going to Star gigs and and all you can eat buffets - i'm there all day...!

My mum sadly died of cancer in 2007, it was a very tough time, but taught me so many things about appreciating life and all it's beauty. You'll find I talk about her a bit on the show - you have to keep it real after all eh? My Dad Ray still lives in the Boro and sister Clair lives with her fiancee in Kent - he proposed to her at the top of the Eiffel Tower...wow! I have extended family dotted in different places around England and the Clan from which I get my surname is based in Caithness, Scotland. Apparently my Tartan is a nice shade...

Anyway, that's me, so enjoy the show and get involved, say hello sometime! See ya...x
