Mark has worked in radio forever, no seriously, he is incapable of doing anything else!

The only other job he ever had was working Saturday's in a friend's dad's electrical repair centre, he fused the place on his second Saturday and that was the end of that, apparently no one would want to buy a melted strimmer!

Mark say's he is 'delighted to be working with the guys on Star' we secretly think this may be due to the convenience of the bacon butty shop over the road. It wasn't written into his contract or anything but we fear if it wasn't there it may have been a deal breaker.

Having been on radio in the North East for the last 17 years he could be described as either legendary or notorious, we'll leave that judgement up to you. Join Mark on Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 2pm and at various other times but only when the butty shop is open.
