Listen every morning at 8am to find out more! Mark Thorburn is now at the helm of the Star Radio Breakfast Show with boundless energy and enthusiam! We call it Mark Thorburn's Feel Good Breakfast and it's designed to do exactly as it says on the tin! Mark has lived in the North East and been on the radio here since the Vikings invaded. He is absolutely thrilled to be charged with the responsibility of waking up Durham, Darlington and Northallerton! He says, "I'm genuinely excited by this show, and think we're offering something very different from the other stations. I know YOU deserve better!" Mark's CD collection is much more varied than you might expect and every song he plays is designed to make you FEEL GOOD in a morning! Plus Mark is passionate about the North East, and is on a mission to make you feel better about the day ahead with his quirky perspective on life! Star Radio finally caved in and gave him the show after his wife wouldn't stop hounding the station .... she says frankly that his family find it a lot easier if he is 'out of the way' while they organise their packed lunches and school run! The last time Mark had to remember to pack a PE kit, he ended up doing the lesson in his pants. Mark has boundless energy and enthusiasm first thing so watch out, especially if you call him just after 6am as he's sharper than most at that time! You could in fact join the 6am roll call of 'early birds' who find themselves up when most of the world are still in bed! Neil lives and breathes everything celebrity, has most of their phone numbers in his own mobile and dishes the dirt every morning for you!
